Exclusive Cusco Retreat Sacred Valley

Welcome to this Sacred Adventure!

At the beautiful handmade HOTEL CASA RAIZ, we found the perfect spot to create our seventh-day program at one of the most sacred and mesmerizing places of Indigenous cultures in South America. Home of the APUS, sacred ancient mountains, and where the QEROS (descended of the INCA´S) continue living their life in our modern times.

We work with traditional Peruvian healers -indigenous and non-indigenous being the main ones leading our ceremonies, a female curandera from the Peruvian Amazon Naysha Silva- and sacred plant medicine and other traditional and modern healing modalities to help you along this path of self-discovery. With over 15 years of experience hosting retreats around the world. TAITA INTI is being guided to open up the doors to enjoy the beautiful healing energy that the andes can offer to each one who is feeling the call just like us.

We are called to serve medicine in sacred circles answering to a mission of serving each other to create a better world with integrity, humility, and compassion. Creating a safe space and working only with experienced, well-intentioned healers and facilitators builds a foundation of mutual trust, authenticity, and respect.

03 Ayahuasca Ceremonies

Ayahuasca is a traditional Amazonian brew made from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the Psychotria viridis leaf, known for its psychoactive properties. Used for centuries by indigenous tribes, ayahuasca ceremonies are deeply spiritual experiences that often lead to profound insights, emotional healing, and personal transformation.

During a typical ceremony, participants consume the brew under the guidance of experienced peruvian shamans . The experience typically lasts several hours, during which individuals may undergo intense introspection, encounter vivid visions, and gain clarity on personal challenges in their lives.

Many people seek ayahuasca for various reasons, including healing trauma, overcoming addiction, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding. However, it’s important to note that participants should approach ayahuasca with caution and awareness, as the experience can be powerful and sometimes challenging.

If you’re curious about exploring your consciousness and connecting with ancient healing practices, ayahuasca might offer a transformative journey toward wellness and self-discovery.

01 San Pedro Ceremony

San Pedro, also known as “Huachuma,” is a traditional plant medicine derived from the San Pedro cactus (Echinopsis pachanoi), which is native to the Andean regions of South America. This sacred cactus has been used for centuries by indigenous cultures for its psychoactive properties, primarily for spiritual and healing purposes.

The main active ingredient in San Pedro is mescaline, a naturally occurring compound that can induce altered states of consciousness, enhanced perceptions, and deep introspection. During San Pedro ceremonies, participants typically consume a brew made from the cactus under the guidance of an experienced shaman or facilitator.

The experience can last anywhere from six to twelve hours, during which individuals may experience vivid visualizations, emotional releases, and profound insights about themselves and their lives. Many people are drawn to San Pedro for its reputation in promoting emotional healing, fostering creativity, and providing clarity on personal issues.

Although the journey can be enlightening and transformative, it’s essential for newcomers to approach San Pedro with respect and mindfulness. As with any plant medicine, preparation, intention, and proper guidance are key to having a safe and meaningful experience.

SPA

Traveling can be tiring, but at the same time it is a source of life. Every day is a discovery and a new emotion. Travelers know that they can visit better places, some unexplored, if they are in better condition. It is important to be relaxed and with all the senses at their peak.

That is why all the people staying at Casa Raíz have access to the private spa that is located at the top of the property and has a dry chamber sauna, an eucalyptus steam chamber, a Spanish shower, a massage room and a tub made with stones and quartz rocks. The space is created to recharge your energy after long walks and strolls.

We recommend speaking with Abelardo “Abe” about the fascinating stories of how the stones arrived and their properties.

STORIES NEVER END IN THE VALLEY, THEY REMAIN IN THE HEART.

our shamans

NAYSHA SILVA

Peruvian Healer

Naysha is born in Tarapoto – Peru a small town in the Peruvian Amazon, she is a healer with an extensive international career, dedicated to healing through medicinal plants, ancestral ceremonies and sacred music. Her connection with the plant world began before her birth when her mother, after seeking the help of shamans, was able to conceive her thanks to a shamanic treatment.

After training as a lawyer and working for the Peruvian government, Naysha realized that true social change begins within the individual. Motivated by a higher calling, she left her career and embarked on a journey to the Amazon rainforest, where she learned about various master plants under the guidance of indigenous shamans. Her training continued in northern Sweden, living among the Sami people, which enriched her understanding of plant medicine.

An expert in Ayahuasca, San Pedro and Kambo ceremonies, Naysha also practices soul retrieval techniques, healing and more. Her mission was further enhanced by a life-changing encounter with Archangel Raphael, who urged her to share the medicine with the world.

Through her organization Taita Inti, Naysha has traveled extensively to over 23 countries in Europe, Asia, and South America, offering wisdom and healing to countless people. Her goal is to create a global community for personal and collective transformation, where ancient wisdom and contemporary practices harmoniously merge.

With a focus on self-exploration and self-transformation, Naysha teaches others to embrace their healing paths, turning them into agents of positive change.

OSCAR

My name is Oscar, I have been taking medicine for 14 years, I learned the path of medicine and diets through my spiritual grandfather in the Amazon jungle of Peru, he taught me the path of plant diets and was the one who gave me spiritual permission to share this knowledge, in the tradition, Ayahuasca medicine is a power plant that helps us relate in a more harmonious way with everything that is alive around us, be it people, animals and plants, it helps us understand how to better care for our relationships and release all bad energy and change those aspects that prevent us from having a better coexistence in every area of our daily life, it gives us the spiritual strength to be able to leave bad habits that immerse us in anxiety and sadness, it cleanses the body of all the negative substances that we have ingested throughout our lives, it gives us focus and clarity, it teaches us how to change those things that are difficult for us

This ceremony is for the family, for those who have clarity and those who do not. They have, for the sick and for the healthy, for those who have faith and for those who do not, medicine is a living spirit, the true doctor, what I was simply taught in the jungle is to facilitate the work of this grandmother healer by harmonizing the space and taking care of the energy of each one, you do not have to have any clear intention or expectations, just come open with the confidence that this decision will generate a positive change in the life of each one and those around them.
